Sun sun sun

Wednesday 7th October: Hot and sunny, a beautiful day. At 8am a friend dropped her 3 children off on her way to work. Our boys had set the alarms on their watches to make sure they got up and ready in time for their arrival.
At 8.30am the 6 children and I walked down to the High School ready for a 9 o'clock start to the Holiday Sports Programme. The children spent the next 3 hours playing all sorts of sports and games and enjoying the gorgeous weather. While they were busy there I delivered three trucks full of furniture and boxes out to the house.
After lunch our neighbour Allan brought his trailer round and we filled it with spare mattresses and a bed frame plus more boxes and delivered them to the house. The kitchen fitter was there putting the new workbench in, and we stayed and enjoyed a coffee and showed them round. It has changed so much since Allan was helping the builder put in walls a few weeks ago. With the sun shining the walls really glowed and it felt really homely.
Once Steve got home from work we took another trailer-load of furniture to the house.
The photos are of the living room from the bay window, and the bathroom (not decorated in this round) showing the new view since the obscured glass was replaced with plain, bringing so much more light into the room and giving a great view while sitting on the loo!!
