Thursday 8th October: Grey and cold with drizzle later. Yuck! We started the day with some schooling then walked into town for storytime at the library. Today's craft activity was mice and Jonathan made a cute paper mouse he called Colin. We collected a bag of shopping on the way home.
After lunch we filled the truck and headed out with more boxes and bedding and kitchen equipment. By now it was drizzling and chilly and the house is starting to fill up. We fed the animals some hay as a treat and laughed as the goat and sheep followed two paces behind me all the way to their shelter tree where they like to have hay put.
Back at the house in town the boys played some computer games while I baked birthday cakes and we made our own pizzas for tea.
The first photo shows the outside of the stable showing the new window on the left. The second photo is the view through the new window, the view Steve will have from his workbench, looking down our paddocks.
