What a lot to fit in...

Monday 2nd November: Today was a busy day, as usual. After a cup of tea but before breakfast we caught the lambs one by one for some milk. Shirley had a little but Felicity still had none. Just after 9 Ruth the piano teacher came to our house for a change for the boys' lessons. Whoever wasn't having a lesson was busy doing their schoolwork with me. After she left we carried on with the rest of our studies. This week we are looking at maps.
Before our lunch the lambs had more milk, then we went into town to get some things sorted. We got some new fuses for Peter's Brainbox toy from a motor electric garage, bought a baby lamb teat at the farmer's supply shop and popped into our previous neighbours for a cuppa and a chat. Next it was time for gymnastics for the boys, the rush home for a quick tea and return to town for Edward to go to Cubs. While he was busy there making scarecrows we tried Felicity with the new teat and had a small success in that she didn't fight the teat but still couldn't be bothered to suck, but did swallow what I squirted down her throat.
We drove back into town to collect Edward and so the boys got off to bed late. I stayed up and started typing up the minutes for last month's gym club meeting.
Steve rang to tell me about the first day of the Tour of Southland bike race and his involvement in the big crash.
