Sunday 1st November: Sunny and a gorgeous high of 24 degrees. First thing in the morning we made up a bottle of milk and caught each lamb in turn. Shirley gobbled up 100ml of milk then lost interest, and Felicity still doesn't have a clue!
After our breakfast we headed into town for Sunday School and bought some broccoli and lettuce plants while we were there. Back home we tried giving more milk to the lambs and then put some apple chunks out, which they nibbled at later. We had our own lunch and then walked to friends for a cup of tea.
We got home at 5 o'clock so I quickly put some food in the oven and fed the lambs again while it cooked. Again Shirley drank lots and Felicity didn't.
We had a tasty but late dinner and then the boys got ready for bed. I fed the lambs again and then did some more sorting and tidying. I had a lovely chat on skype with Helen and, while I am writing this the stags are roaring across the hills.
The photo is of Shirley and I.
