Tuesday 30th June: Yesterday's rain had fallen as snow on the hills and here is a picture from our front door taken this morning. It stayed cold but dry today but mostly grey and overcast.
We schooled in the morning - did the fourth and final lesson in our mini Spanish course, did some colouring, knitting, finger painting and made models with play dough.
The AFTER lunch (!) we walked down to town. We did our usual trip to the post shop, supermarket and library, and went to the video rental store. For tonight's movie night we chose "Charlotte's Web", which we had read recently as our bedtime story.
Tea was pork meatballs and chocolate slice with cream, so then we collapsed on the settee and enjoyed the film, which the boys agreed was excellent and just like the story in the book.
Steve went out climbing in the evening with his friends and I made part of Edward's costume for tomorrow's fancy dress disco.
